Basicaly there is a traffic of transport vehicles - different wheel transport and pedestrian traffic. There can be requirements for high mechanical and abrassion resistance.

There can be different requirements for temperature conditions from minus to plus °C.

In some technologies there are permanent spiliges of agressive fluids on the floor.

There might be special requirements for floorings: not to create static electricity, to be electroconductive or to keep an explosion proof environment.

There might be requirements to finish the flooring in a very short terms, which is not possible to achieve with convenient flooring sistems.
